Guide Overview

Activating SMS Messages

  • SMS Messages are activated when a guest makes their first request.

  • The guest must also add a valid SMS number in their notification settings.

Opting in and Out

Guests can opt in or out of receiving SMS messages by checking or unchecking the Opt-in checkbox found in the Notification Settings.

By default, guests will be opted in.

Opt-Out Keywords

Guests can also opt-out of receiving SMS messages by texting STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT as a response.

Help and Info

If guests text HELP or INFO as a response, they will receive an automatic reply that will link them to your hotel platform.
